Bond Spread Dips to Lowest Level Since April 2010

Rome: The spread between Italy’s 10-year BTP bond briefly dipped below the 90-basis-points mark in early trading on Thursday, falling to 89.9 points, the lowest level since April 2010. The spread, which had closed at 91 points on Wednesday, then rose back up to 90 points.

According to Ansa News Agency, the yield on the BTP dropped to 3.44% from 3.47% on Wednesday.
