Amb. Palminteri Meets Macedonian Defence Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation


Skopje: The excellent level of bilateral cooperation between Italy and North Macedonia in the defence sector was confirmed at the meeting between North Macedonia Defence Minister Vlado Misajlovski and Italian Ambassador Paolo Palminteri, who was accompanied on the occasion by Defence Attach© Colonel Cristian Margheriti.



According to Ansa News Agency, the Embassy reported in a note that the close partnership between the two countries is evident through the numerous projects and initiatives implemented not only within the framework of institutional collaboration, but also in the framework of the Atlantic Alliance. The Armed Forces of the two countries work in synergy in various theatres, such as the KFOR mission in Kosovo.



Ambassador Palminteri advocated for a significant role of the Italian defence industry in the modernisation process of the Armed Forces of North Macedonia.
