Activity at Catania Airport Resumes After Crane Removed

Catania: Flights to and from Catania Airport resumed on Thursday after briefly being suspended because a tall crane that was being used for works got struck overnight. The crane, whose presence had made takeoff and landing operations unsafe, was removed.

According to Ansa News Agency, the first flight to land after the removal of the crane was a Volotea service from Verona. This resumption marks the return to normal operations at the airport after the temporary disruption caused by the crane incident.
