Rome: The promoter of a pro-EU demonstration at Rome’s Piazza del Popolo on Saturday afternoon, journalist Michele Serra, said around 50,000 people attended the event.

According to Ansa News Agency, Serra made the announcement as he closed the rally, emphasizing the large turnout. He addressed the crowd, stating, “There are 50,000 of us in the square.” He encouraged the participants to remain connected, saying, “Let’s stay in touch.”
