3rd West Nile Virus Victim in Lazio, Campania Registers 2nd

Lazio: The region Rome belongs, registered its third West Nile Virus on Tuesday after Campania recorded its second.

According to Ansa News Agency, the latest person to die of the disease was an 86-year-old man who died at Latina’s Santa Maria Goretti Hospital. There has been a cluster of cases in the province of Latina, which is between Rome and Naples.

All five victims reportedly suffered from concurrent conditions.
