36 ITA Airways Flights Cancelled Due to Handlers Strike
Rome: Some 36 ITA Airways flights have had to be cancelled Thursday due to a handlers strike, the Italian flag carrier said Wednesday. The domestic and international flights have been scrubbed, it said, due to the strike by Assohandlers.
According to Ansa News Agency, the airline invites all travelers who purchased a ticket on the day of the strike to check the status of their flight before going to the airport. Travelers are advised to visit the Flight Info section of ita-airways.com or contact the travel agency where they purchased their ticket to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding their travel plans.
