Yachts and Jets Begin to Arrive in Venice for Bezos Wedding

Venice: Mega yachts and private jets have begun arriving in Venice for the highly anticipated wedding celebrations of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and journalist and pilot Lauren Sanchez, which are scheduled to take place from Thursday through Saturday.

According to Ansa News Agency, among the first vessels to dock in the lagoon city were the 60-metre yacht belonging to fund manager and philanthropist Bill Miller and the 122-metre yacht Kisnet owned by billionaire Shahid Khan. These arrivals come amid growing protests in Venice over Bezos’s acquisition of major central amenities.

At Marco Polo Airport, officials have maintained silence regarding the identities of those arriving on the numerous private jets, citing the heightened security and secrecy surrounding this significant global event.
