Workshop in Sydney on the International Astronautical Congress


Sydney: Australia will host the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in 2025, following the 2024 edition in Milan, Italy. On Tuesday, 25 February, at Cicada Innovations in Sydney, the Embassy of Italy in Australia, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Sydney, Investment NSW, ITA – Italian Trade Agency – Sydney, and the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia Inc., is organizing a one-day bilateral workshop focused on science, technology, and space innovation.



According to Ansa News Agency, this event aims to strengthen ties between Italy and Australia in the fields of science and technology, with a particular emphasis on advancements in space innovation. The workshop is expected to bring together key stakeholders from both countries to discuss collaborative opportunities and future projects leading up to the 2025 IAC in Australia.



The collaboration underscores the growing importance of international partnerships in advancing space exploration and technology. The workshop serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and fostering cooperation between Italian and Australian industries and institutions.
