A51-year-old Italian maintenance worker was crushed to death by a car on a cable-car line near Aosta on Monday.
The man, a council official named Stefano Rabaglio, died at Gressoney-La-Trinité in the second fatal workplace accident in Italy on Monday.
Earlier in the day a 34-year-old worker was crushed to death by a press in a factory near Varese north of Milan.
