Worker Collapses, Dies on Construction Site Near Frosinone
Frosinone: A 58-year-old worker collapsed and died in fierce heat on a construction site in the Frosinone area on Friday, marking the second such death on a building site in that province within three days. The incident occurred in Atina, where the worker was assigned to the construction of the new fiber optic network along Via Randolfi.
According to Ansa News Agency, the tragedy unfolded around ten o’clock in the morning. The worker felt ill and collapsed under the baking sun. Medical staff from Cassino’s 118 emergency services arrived promptly to provide first aid and attempt revival efforts. Despite their swift response, their efforts were in vain, and the man was pronounced dead at the construction site.
The Carabinieri of Atina have conducted surveys to meticulously reconstruct the events leading up to the unfortunate incident. This marks a concerning trend in the area, as it is the second fatality on a construction site in the province in just three days.
