Wine Businessman Held for Femicide in Sardinia

Sardinia: A 41-year-old Sardinian wine businessman has been arrested for femicide on the Italian island.

According to Ansa News Agency, the man, Emanuele Ragnedda, a wine entrepreneur from Arzachena, is under arrest for the murder of Cinzia Pinna, a 33-year-old woman from Castelsardo who disappeared on the evening of September 11th in Palau.

The man was apprehended by the Carabinieri, in collaboration with the Coast Guard, while attempting to flee on a boat.

A 26-year-old man from Milan is also under investigation for concealing a body.
