Weather Alert Issued for Storm Risk in 14 Italian Regions

Rome: A weather alert for the risk of storms is in place for Tuesday in 14 Italian regions, the civil protection department said Monday. Parts of Lombardy and Veneto have been assessed with an orange alert, indicating a heightened risk.

According to Ansa News Agency, a yellow alert has been issued for the other 12 regions. These regions include Trentino Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, a part of Tuscany, Umbria, a part of Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, and Calabria.

The civil protection department is monitoring the situation closely and advises residents in these areas to stay informed and take necessary precautions. The alert system aims to mitigate risks and ensure public safety amid potential weather disruptions.
