Venice Entry Fee Campaign Mascot Unveiled, ‘Rivo’
Venice: Venice’s mascot for its entry fee campaign this year, the second year it will be in force, was unveiled as Rivo on Monday, Venetian dialect for Arrivo, or I’m arriving. Tourists are being asked to pay a daily fee of 5-10 euros to access the storied lagoon city.
According to Ansa News Agency, Rivo was presented at Italy’s BIT tourism fair. This initiative aims to manage the influx of visitors and preserve the city’s unique cultural and historical heritage. The introduction of the mascot is part of a broader effort to communicate the significance of the entry fee and enhance visitor experience.
