Tuttofood Explores Food Trends and AI Integration in Agri-Food Sector


Milan: Artificial intelligence is also insinuating itself among grazing cows, in the creation of sushi, in the distribution of products. An opportunity that was discussed at the inaugural conference of Tuttofood, an agri-food event organized by Fiere di Parma and open from today at Fiera Milano Rho.



According to Ansa News Agency, “The integration of artificial intelligence in the agri-food supply chain represents a strategic opportunity to enhance the excellence of agri-food and face global challenges,” said Valeria Sandei, CEO of Almawave. These technologies allow for the optimization and enhancement of the entire production cycle, from cultivation to distribution, product protection, logistics improvement, safety, back office operations, and waste reduction, thereby improving sustainability, efficiency, and competitiveness.



Alice Andrei, marketing manager of Fiere di Parma, explained that Tuttofood is a global agri-food platform that, in addition to exhibiting products, aims to be a place for discovering new industry trends, critical issues, and strategies. “For us, it is important to understand how in a traditional sector like agri-food, artificial intelligence could be an active support,” she stated.



Riccardo Caravita, brand manager for Tuttofood 2025, highlighted that climate problems and wars have made access to food or certain raw materials difficult. He emphasized the increasing necessity of engaging companies in discussions about sustainable production from economic, environmental, and social perspectives, as well as responsible and ethical consumption.
