Tokyo: Italy’s Andrea Dallavalle won the silver medal in the men’s triple jump at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo on Friday with a leap of 17.64 metres. The 25-year-old athlete was only outperformed by Portugal’s Pedro Pichardo, who achieved a jump of 17.91 metres.
According to Ansa News Agency, this accomplishment marks Italy’s sixth medal of the championships. Among these achievements is the notable performance of 20-year-old Mattia Furlani, who secured a gold medal in the long jump event on Wednesday.
