TIM Secures Strategic Deal with Apple for Enhanced Music and Entertainment Offerings


Milan: Italian telecoms group TIM announced that it has reached an agreement with Apple to provide some of Apple’s music and entertainment content to its customers.

According to Ansa News Agency, the deal will enable TIM’s mobile clients to access Apple Music as part of their service packages, while TimVision customers will benefit from promotional offers on Apple TV+ content. More specifically, Apple Music will be available through the Tim Young and Music, Tim Mobile and Music, and Tim Giga and Music packages. Additionally, TimVision clients will receive a 30% discount on their Apple TV+ subscription for the first six months.

TIM CEO Pietro Labriola emphasized the deal’s importance, stating, “The agreement with Apple has strategic importance.” He further added that this collaboration aligns with TIM’s ‘customer platform’ strategy, which is yielding positive outcomes and opens new growth opportunities for the group in the consumer market.
