Tennis: Musetti Into Quarters, Beats Medvedev and Rain

Rome: Italy’s world number nine Lorenzo Musetti reached the quarterfinals of the Italian Open Tuesday, beating Russian number 11 Daniil Medvedev in two sets with a score of 7-5, 6-4. Musetti will now face the winner of the challenge between Frenchman Arthur Fils and Germany’s Alexander Sacha Zverev.

According to Ansa News Agency, the match on the Grand Stand Arena was interrupted on the Italian tennis player’s match point due to rain, only to resume about three hours later.
