Temps to Hit 19 C in Naples, Surpassing Cairo and Riyadh

NAPLES: Temperatures in Naples are expected to reach between 18-19 degrees Celsius between 2:00 and 3:00 PM on Sunday, surpassing the temperatures in Cairo and Riyadh, where the mercury will peak at 17 degrees Celsius, as reported by the ANBI Observatory in its latest climate warning issued Thursday.

According to Ansa News Agency, central and southern Italy are currently experiencing mild, almost Spring-like weather conditions during midday. This unusual temperature increase in Naples marks a significant contrast to the cooler temperatures expected in typically hotter regions like Cairo and Riyadh.

The ANBI National Irrigation Office Observatory on Water Resources issued the warning based on meteorological data from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). The observatory’s analysis indicates a temporary climatic shift leading to these higher temperatures in Naples.

Furthermore, Copernicus noted that January 2025 has been recorded as the hottest month on record, highlighting ongoing global temperature trends and their potential implications on regional weather patterns.
