Washington: Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani landed in Washington early on Tuesday for talks with United States officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Tajani’s visit is part of an effort to strengthen bilateral relations and address pressing international issues.
According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani will also meet Jim Risch, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, and Ambassador Jamieson Greer, the US Trade Representative. The discussions will cover a range of topics, including tariffs and international crises, with a particular focus on Russia’s ongoing war on Ukraine.
