Rome: Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on Thursday voiced Italy’s concern about the crisis between India and Pakistan to his counterparts in the two Asian countries, where tension is still rising after tit-for-tat attacks following a terror attack in Kashmir, the Farnesina said.
According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani had just had two telephone conversations with the Indian Foreign Minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and the Pakistani Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar. He expressed deep concern about the serious escalation of tension between India and Pakistan, starting from the attack on April 22 in Pahalgam and the subsequent Indian raids, which resulted in human and material losses, as stated by the Italian foreign ministry.
