Swastikas and DUX Daubed on PD, ANPI Offices in Rome

Rome: Swastikas and the word DUX, Latin for Il Duce Bettino Mussolini, were daubed overnight on the Rome offices of the center-left Democratic Party and the Italian WWII Partisans Association, ANPI.

According to Ansa News Agency, the incident followed the recent removal of graffiti hailing NAR neofascist terrorists. The graffiti attack has sparked outrage among political allies and organizations in Rome.

“This is Fascist thug violence,” said PD ally the Green-Left Alliance (AVS), condemning the act and calling for immediate action to address the rise in extremist activities. The authorities are investigating the incident to identify those responsible for the vandalism.
