South Korea to Introduce Dental Implantology Master’s Degree with Italian University

Seoul: A Master’s course in dental implantology is set to be launched in South Korea’s capital city, Seoul, through a collaboration between the University of Rome Unicamillus and the Gangnam International Implant Academy. The course was unveiled at the Residence of the Italian Ambassador in Seoul, Emilia Gatto, and is expected to draw the participation of over 80 students hailing from a diverse range of countries, including Italy, Korea, the USA, Mexico, Mongolia, Austria, Cambodia, Canada, New Zealand, Egypt, Indonesia, and Australia.

According to Ansa News Agency, this initiative is part of a broader trend of growing academic collaboration between Italy and South Korea, with over 200 existing agreements between universities from both nations. This reflects the strong emphasis on academic exchanges and joint research and development efforts.

In addition to the master’s course, the Italian Embassy in Seoul is preparing to host the second edition of ‘SII, Study in Italy’ this November. This international fair will offer Korean high school and university students comprehensive insights into academic opportunities available at leading Italian universities, further solidifying the academic ties between the two countries.
