Soccer: Lautaro May Return for Champions League Clash Against Barcelona

Milan: Inter skipper and Argentina striker Lautaro Martinez may make it back for the second leg of the Nerazzurri’s Champions League semi-final against Barcelona at the San Siro Tuesday night after picking up a thigh injury in last Wednesday’s 3-3 draw in the first leg in the Catalan city, coach Simone Inzaghi said Monday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the 27-year-old World Cup winner, who has scored seven times in the Champions League this season including in each leg of the quarters against Bayern Munich, had not been expected to make it. A final decision on Lautaro, as well as on France defender Benjamin Pavard, will be taken Tuesday morning, said Inzaghi.
