Soccer: Brazil a Major Challenge, Today I’m Happy – Ancelotti

Madrid: Coaching Brazil will be a major and important challenge, new boss Carlo Ancelotti said Tuesday, adding that he was happy to take up the challenge.

According to Ansa News Agency, Ancelotti announced, “From May 26 I will be the coach of Brazil, and it is a very important challenge: but I want to conclude this last part of this fantastic adventure here well.” He made this statement on the eve of Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Mallorca, which is the first of the last three matches he will oversee as the coach of the Merengues.

Ancelotti expressed his satisfaction by stating, “I’m happy, if today there hadn’t been this press conference it would have been fantastic.” Furthermore, he noted, “I won’t add anything else out of respect for the Real fans: I’ll always be a fan of this team.”

The most successful club coach in history, Ancelotti is set to take over the five-time world champions after his contract with Real Madrid expires.
