Six Guests Hospitalized Due to Monoxide Fumes at Rome Hotel

Rome: Six guests were hospitalized along with a member of the emergency services early on Monday due to carbon monoxide fumes at a Rome hotel, sources said.

According to Ansa News Agency, the fumes invaded 44 out of the 46 rooms of the hotel on the Via Aurelia, prompting the evacuation of 96 guests as a precautionary measure. The sources indicated that the fumes may have been caused by the hotel’s main boiler, which has been impounded for further investigation.
