Sinner Beats De Minaur to Reach China Open Final

Beijing: Italy’s Jannik Sinner defeated Australia’s Alex De Minaur 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 on Tuesday to secure a place in the China Open final.

According to Ansa News Agency, the 24-year-old Italian will compete against the victor of the match between Learner Tien and Daniil Medvedev in the tournament’s final showdown. This tournament marks Sinner’s return to the court following his appearance in the US Open final, where he was bested by Carlos Alcaraz. This loss at the US Open also resulted in Sinner relinquishing the top spot in the world rankings to the Spanish player.
