Seven Arrested Over ‘Systematic Violence’ at Dizzasco Nursing Home
Dizzasco: Carabinieri police announced Monday the arrest of seven individuals linked to alleged systematic abuse of elderly residents at a nursing home in Dizzasco, located in the province of Como. The arrests mark a significant development in the investigation into the disturbing conditions reported at the facility.
According to Ansa News Agency, two of the suspects are currently detained in prison, while the remaining five have been placed under house arrest. The Carabinieri revealed that the abuse, described as “systematic violence,” had become entrenched as a “working habit” within the home. It reportedly involved “beatings, insults, and physical and psychological humiliation” of the vulnerable residents, shedding light on the severity of the situation.
