Scanorama Film Festival to Feature Liliana Cavani Retrospective

Vilnius: The Scanorama film festival, which is set to take place from November 9 to 14 in Vilnius, will feature a retrospective dedicated to the renowned director Liliana Cavani.

According to Ansa News Agency, the retrospective is organized in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Vilnius, the Italian Cultural Institute in the Baltic capital, and Cinecittà. It will present Lithuanian audiences with eight of Cavani’s major films, each exploring themes of human nature, the quest for truth, the boundaries of morality, and historical memory.
