Los Angeles: Isabella Rossellini said on Instagram Sunday that the big day of the Oscars has come where she is up for a best supporting actress gong for her portrayal of a strong-willed nun in Edward Berger’s multi-nominated adaptation of the Robert Harris thriller on cardinal conspiracy, “Conclave.”
According to Ansa News Agency, Rossellini expressed her excitement and anticipation for the event. “Today is the big day @theacademy,” she shared. She also conveyed her emotions about the project, noting the involvement of Edoardo Ponti, who is the son of cinema legends Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti. Rossellini, aged 72, is the Italo-American daughter of iconic actors Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini.
