According to Ansa News Agency, the Tuscan regional government has approved the construction of wind turbines at Badia Tedalda in Alta Valmarecchia. Experts have identified this landscape as the potential background for Leonardo da Vinci’s renowned painting, prompting concerns over the preservation of its historical and cultural significance.

Rimini Mayor Jamil Sadegholvaad is at the forefront of the opposition, arguing that the plans violate regulations designed to protect areas of outstanding natural beauty.
