Riccardo Bellini Appointed New CEO of Valentino

Rome: Riccardo Bellini is the new CEO of Valentino, the fashion house announced Wednesday, saying that the appointment will be effective September 1.

According to Ansa News Agency, Rachid Mohamed Rachid, president of Valentino, expressed confidence in Bellini’s leadership, stating, “With Riccardo’s appointment, we are accelerating Valentino’s journey. I know his extensive experience in luxury, his strategic acumen, and his proven leadership, which, combined with Alessandro Michele’s great creative vision, will guide the house into the future and amplify its unique identity.”

Bellini, who is set to take the helm at Valentino, shared his enthusiasm about joining the iconic fashion house. “I am honored to join Valentino, an iconic house that combines extraordinary heritage and craftsmanship with a unique creative voice. I look forward to working with Alessandro Michele and the exceptional Valentino team to celebrate the house’s timeless values and write its next chapter,” he remarked. Bellini’s previous roles include CEO positions at Maison Margiela and Chlo©, as well as senior business and marketing leadership roles at Diesel and Procter and Gamble.

Bellini’s academic credentials include a degree from Bocconi University and further education at Iese Business School. He brings with him thirty years of management experience in the fashion and luxury industry, a testament to his capability to steer Valentino into its anticipated future.
