Rapper Emis Killa Faces Restrictions Amid Anti-Mafia Probe but Will Perform at Sanremo

Milan: Rapper Emis Killa is set to perform at the Sanremo Song Festival next month despite being barred from attending sporting events by Milan’s police chief, Bruno Megale. The restriction, which includes football matches, will last for three years due to his involvement in an anti-Mafia investigation concerning AC Milan and Inter Milan ultra leaders, as reported by Milan daily Corriere della Sera.

According to Ansa News Agency, Killa, a 35-year-old AC Milan enthusiast whose real name is Emiliano Rudolf Giambelli, is under investigation for criminal association. The rapper, who plans to present his new song “Demoni” (Demons) at the festival, is being scrutinized by DDA anti-Mafia investigators alongside members of organized fan groups. Their alleged criminal activities previously led to 19 arrests in September, and Killa is viewed as “too dangerous to enter a stadium but he can serenely perform at Sanremo,” according to Corriere della Sera.

Investigators have reportedly identified Killa with 14 other ultra fans in an incident involving an assault on a stadium steward. He is also allegedly linked with ultra leaders Fabiano Capuzzo and brothers Luca and Francesco Lucci, with whom he co-manages a barber shop in Monza. Furthermore, Killa’s social media reportedly features images with individuals suspected by investigators to have connections to Calabria’s organized crime, such as Alfonso Cuturello and Antonio Favasuli.
