Rome: Pope Francis remains stable in a complex clinical picture as he battles pneumonia in a Rome hospital, the Vatican press office said Thursday. The Pope’s clinical situation “remains stationary in a complex picture”, it said.
According to Ansa News Agency, this afternoon, the Pontiff “resumed respiratory therapy”. In this regard, “the alternation of non-invasive mechanical ventilation at night with high-flow oxygenation with nasal cannulas used during the day continues”.
