Pope Meets Zelensky at Castel Gandolo

Rome: Pope Leo XIV had an audience with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the papal summer residence at Castel Gandolo, near Rome, on Wednesday, the Vatican said.

According to Ansa News Agency, Zelensky is scheduled to meet Italian President Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinal Palace in Rome later on Wednesday. Following this meeting, Zelensky will participate in the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which is set to take place in the Italian capital on Thursday and Friday.
