Pope Marks Epiphany Feast with Mass in St Peter’s

Vatican City: Pope Francis marked the Epiphany feast day with a Mass in St Peter’s on Monday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the 87-year-old Argentine pontiff delivered a sermon on the day Catholics commemorate the arrival of the Three Kings to see the Baby Jesus. During his sermon, Pope Francis emphasized, “God’s dream is to see humanity at peace.”

He further stated, “We prefer welcome to the locks of fear,” highlighting a message of inclusion and peace. The celebration of the Epiphany feast day is an important event in the Catholic calendar, signifying the revelation of Christ to the Gentiles as represented by the Magi.
