Police Dismantle Gang That Scammed the Elderly

Rome: Italy’s State police announced that they have dismantled a gang suspected of orchestrating 103 scams targeting elderly individuals across the nation.

According to Ansa News Agency, the police operation led to the arrest of 22 suspects, involving the efforts of 300 officers. A total of 77 individuals are currently under investigation following months of work coordinated by prosecutors in Genoa.
