Most Milano Cortina 2026 Works Complete Says Malag²
Milano: Most of the works for next year’s Winter Olympics are already finished or close to completion, Giovanni Malag², the president of the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation, said on Tuesday.
According to Ansa News Agency, there is a lot of encouraging news, starting with the venues and infrastructure, Malag², the former head of Italian Olympic Committee CONI, told the sixth session of IOC Coordination Commission for Milano Cortina 2026, which opened on Tuesday and runs until Wednesday. Much of the work is completed or close to completion.
With 143 days to go, Malag² said he was confident the Games would be a success. He mentioned feeling a special energy and a positive vibe that makes Milano Cortina 2026 a living being. He described it as a charge running through its nervous system, referencing the motto “IT’s Your Vibe,” which can be felt in the corridors and facilities.
Malag² emphasized the energy brought by hundreds of young people who, in this final stretch, will be the heart and soul of the Italian Winter Games. He expressed that their unforgettable experience will extend to the world of sport and other major events in the years to come, which he considers the most beautiful legacy imaginable for Milano Cortina 2026.
