Million-Strong Jubilee of Youth Hailed a Success

Rome: The Jubilee of Youth, one of the largest events of the Holy Year, concluded triumphantly as approximately one million participants gathered for an outdoor Mass led by Pope Leo XIV in Rome’s Tor Vergata area. The event was celebrated both as a religious triumph for the Catholic Church and an organizational success for Italy and Rome.

According to Ansa News Agency, Premier Giorgia Meloni highlighted the impact of the Jubilee, noting that Rome experienced “extraordinary days filled with faith, joy, and hope.” She expressed gratitude for the historic nature of the event and acknowledged the efforts of the government in coordinating the logistical aspects through the ‘Jubilee method’ initiated early in her tenure. Meloni emphasized the legacy of Pope Leo XIV’s words during the concluding Mass, urging the youth to “aspire to great things.”

Rome Mayor Roberto Gualtieri shared his satisfaction with the successful execution of the event, calling it an “extraordinary job” that leaves a lasting legacy. He praise
