Rome: The Milan bourse experienced a notable decline, closing 1.38% down on Tuesday. The FTSE-Mib index fell to 37,698 points. This downturn came amid mounting concerns over tariff threats from Donald Trump targeting Canada’s steel, aluminum, and car sectors.
According to Ansa News Agency, the impact of these tariff threats was also felt in New York. The Dow Jones saw a decrease of 1.25%, while the Nasdaq fell by 0.83%, and the S and P 500 was down by 1.02%, indicating growing apprehension over a potential trade war.
