Meloni Urges Italian Firms to Embrace Ambitious Economic Vision

Rome: Premier Giorgia Meloni said in a video message to Italy’s young industrialists Friday that Italian government and businesses must go back to thinking big. Meloni emphasized the importance of adopting a broader economic outlook to solidify Italy’s position as a leading economic, productive, and industrial force.

According to Ansa News Agency, Meloni highlighted the government’s recent economic initiatives during her virtual address at the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria conference. She stressed that Italy, as a nation with great potential, should not relinquish its status as an industrial powerhouse. The Premier acknowledged the existing delays and challenges but expressed strong belief in the country’s ability to formulate an industrial policy with a forward-thinking vision.

Meloni stated, “Italy has accumulated delays and difficulties that it certainly must recover, there are many things that need to be sorted out and corrected.” However, she remained optimistic about the nation’s prospects, insisting on the necessity of designing strategies that encompass both medium and long-term goals. By doing so, Meloni believes Italy can not only address current predicaments but also anticipate future economic trends, thereby ensuring sustainable growth and development.
