Meloni Criticizes Politicized Judges for Interfering with Justice Reforms

Rimini: Premier Giorgia Meloni has expressed concerns over a minority of politicized judges who she claims have been infringing upon the political realm to obstruct government initiatives aimed at reforming the justice system. Speaking at the Rimini Meeting of the Catholic activist group Comunione e Liberazione (CL), Meloni emphasized her commitment to advancing justice reforms despite these challenges.

According to Ansa News Agency, Meloni stated, “We will move forward with justice reform despite the invasions of the field by a minority of politicized judges who are trying to replace parliament and the will of the people.” Her remarks highlight ongoing tensions between the government and certain members of the judiciary, as the administration seeks to implement changes in the justice sector.
