Man Given Life Sentence for Wife’s Murder in Lanciano

Lanciano: The Lanciano Court of Assizes has sentenced 73-year-old Aldo Rodolfo Di Nunzio to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife, Annamaria D’Eliseo, who was 60 years old and worked as a school assistant. Di Nunzio was found guilty of aggravated voluntary homicide.

According to Ansa News Agency, the incident occurred on July 15, 2022. Di Nunzio, who has consistently claimed his innocence, was accused by the prosecution of strangling his wife with electrical wires in the cellar-garage of their residence located in the Iconicella area of Lanciano, Abruzzo. After the act, he allegedly attempted to stage the scene as a suicide.
