Man Arrested for Arson Attack on Carabinieri Barracks Near Florence

Florence: A 30-year-old man has been arrested in relation to an arson attack on the Carabinieri barracks at Borgo San Lorenzo, near Florence, on the night of January 12-13, prosecutors said on Thursday. No one was hurt in the attack, in which an incendiary device was thrown at the barracks, but the damage was significant.

According to Ansa News Agency, the suspect is linked to anarchist groups. He allegedly committed the attack despite already being under house arrest and being monitored with an electronic bracelet.
