Lower House Session Suspended After Flotilla Protest
Rome: A session of the Italian Lower House had to be suspended on Wednesday after a group of opposition lawmakers occupied the government benches demanding that a member of the executive report on the attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla overnight.
According to Ansa News Agency, when the session resumed, Deputy Speaker Giorgio Mul¨, who was in charge, announced that Defence Minister Guido Crosetto would report to the House on Thursday after returning from a visit to Latvia.
