Rome: Orders and revenue at Italian aerospace and defense giant Leonardo experienced a significant surge in the first quarter, with ordinary profit rising to 115 million euros. This announcement came after the board approved the results on Thursday.
According to Ansa News Agency, Leonardo’s orders were valued at 6.9 billion euros, marking a 20.6% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. The company’s revenues reached 4.2 billion euros, reflecting a 14.9% rise. Additionally, the company’s Ebita stood at 211 million euros, showing a 17.9% increase, while ordinary net profit rose by 23.7% to 115 million euros. However, the net profit recorded a slight decrease to 396 million euros compared to the first three months of 2024.
The board has confirmed its guidance for 2025, indicating a positive outlook for the company’s future performance.
