Leo XIV Visits Papal Residence at Castel Gandolfo

Castel Gandolfo: Pope Leo XIV visited the papal summer residence near Castel Gandolfo on Thursday, Vatican Press Office Director Matteo Bruni said.

According to Ansa News Agency, Bruni stated that the American pontiff went to Castel Gandolfo to pay a visit to the offices of the Borgo Laudato Si environmental education project. During his visit, he also went to the Papal Palace.

Leo XIV’s predecessor, Pope Francis, did not use the summer residence, and it was converted into a museum in 2016.
