Leo XIV is First Augustinian Pope in History

Vatican City: Robert Francis Prevost, the newly elected Pope Leo XIV, is the first Augustinian pope in history.

According to Ansa News Agency, Prevost, 69, spent much of his life as a missionary, especially in Peru.
