Kallas’s Plan Needs In-Depth Examination Says Tajani
Brussels: Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani stated that a meeting in Brussels on Monday with his European counterparts is not set to give the green light to EU High Representative Kaja Kallas’ proposal to send Ukraine 40-billion-euros of military support in 2025.
According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani emphasized that the plan “needs to be examined in depth so a decision will not be reached today.” He highlighted that Italy “is not alone” in calling for more reflection on the proposal.
Tajani also mentioned the importance of assessing the outcomes of a phone call between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, which could potentially influence the decision-making process regarding the proposal.
