Italy’s Budget Deficit Projected to Fall Close to 3% of GDP by 2025
Rome: Italy’s budget deficit is anticipated to decrease significantly, approaching 3% of GDP as early as 2025, according to the economy ministry’s Treasury department. This projection highlights the country’s ongoing fiscal efforts to manage and reduce its deficit.
According to Ansa News Agency, the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance stated in its quarterly issuance program that the deficit-to-GDP ratio is expected to be close to 3% by 2025. Furthermore, the ongoing fiscal strategies will enable Italy to consistently lower this ratio below the 3% threshold in the subsequent years.
