Italy’s 2024 Exports Reach Record High of Over 305 Billion Euros

Rome: Italy’s exports achieved their highest level in more than a decade in 2024, as reported by Istat on Wednesday. The total exports amounted to over 305 billion euros by the end of December, marking a significant milestone since Istat began recording exports in their current form in 2013.

According to Ansa News Agency, the 2024 export figures surpass the previous record set in 2013, when the value of exports was approximately 200 billion euros. The growth trajectory was evident in 2023, with Italian exports rising to nearly 302 billion euros from 295.7 billion euros in 2022, as noted by the national statistics agency.

The consistent increase in export values highlights Italy’s expanding presence in international markets and reflects the nation’s strategic economic initiatives. This growth trajectory underscores the crucial role of exports in Italy’s economic framework and its impact on the national economy.
